MEET THE 2024 COMMITTEE
CLUB AIMS
About the Club
The Club was originally founded in 2015 by two enthuastic pygmy goat keepers.
With no other registry available for the breed in the country it was agreed that something should be put in place to bring together Pygmy Goat keepers all over Northern Ireland , to help protect the breed. Members have continued on the clubs success year after year and promoted the breed at various events/shows throughout the year and encourage breeding the best to continue to improve the standard here in Northern Ireland. Each year at the annual AGM committee members are voted in, the committee of 2024 strive to promote the aims of the club and support its members.
The club aim is to improve not only the standard of the breed in Northern Ireland but also the care of this fantastic small species by educating and advising those new to keeping goats and also providing a portal of information to those who may need advice.

In the near future we aim to be able to provide our members with an online herdbook where they can go to check out history of their goats they have bought or are interested in buying, which will be accessible 24/7.
